If you caught Jack Johnson live last summer, you probably saw Merlo step out from behind the bass and grab the mic for a verse on “Staple It Together”. Merlo’s hip hop side project J RADIO..  will be stepping on stage to perform a set at the two Jack Johnson  Paris shows on June 23rd and 24th at the Zenith in Paris. J RADIO  on the mic with special guests, Money Mark on keys and melodica, DJ Eskae on turntables and Ken Boudakian on guitar.

Thank you to all of our fans for their support of Jack’s new record, To The Sea. It debuted last week as the #1 album in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. The album also debuted in the top 5 in Austria, Germany and Japan.

Jack’s cover of Greg Brown’s “Spring Wind” has been a live favorite for years, and Jack recently went into the studio to record a proper version for Chris Malloy’s new film “180 South”.  The soundtrack was put together by Emmett Malloy, and also features new music from Ugly Casanova (with Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse), James Mercer (The Shins, Broken Bells), and Mason Jennings.  You can preorder it from the Brushfire Records online store or request it at your local music retailer. It will be available June 22nd.
