This past Sunday, Jack and his wife, Kim, co-founders of the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, hosted a live Q&A following the online screening of the film, “Bag It”.
The event was a huge success! Folks from all over the world, including the filmmakers Suzan Beraza and Judy Kohin joined the conversation and shared helpful tips on living a life with less plastic. During the Q&A Jack showed off his driftwood Christmas tree that he made and also sang his new Single Use Plastics song. Check it out here.
Jack, All At Once & Kokua Hawai’i Foundation encourage you to be plastic free this holiday season!
- Throw a waste free holiday party - use reusable plates, cups and utensils.
- Bring your own bag to the store for shopping.
- Buy locally produced and minimally packaged products.
- Support businesses and products that are environmentally friendly. Check out www.onepercentfortheplanet.org and www.Climatecounts.org to find businesses doing good.
- Remember your first two R’s - REDUCE & REUSE. Instead of buying new gifts, buy used or “vintage” gifts….or better yet, give homemade gifts or gifts of time instead.
