One of the first pieces of music Jack ever used for a surf film was from G. Love. The first time one of Jack’s songs ever got released on a record was a duet of "Rodeo Clowns" on G. Love and Special Sauce’s Philadelphonic record. When Jack started Brushfire Records one of the first artists he signed was G. Love. In the intervening years they have shared time on stage, in the studio and, of course, in the water. Brushfire Records is proud to release the latest record from G. Love and Special Sauce called Love Saves The Day. The record features special guests like Jack’s bandmates Adam Topol and Zach Gill, longtime friends Ozomatli and DJ Logic as well as Citizen Cope, Lucinda Williams and David Hildalgo of Los Lobos.
