“Filmed on location in Chile by renowned photographer/cinematographer Dave Homcy, EL MAR, Mi ALMA captures the essence of a unique coastal road trip and surfing journey by Dave Rastovich and his NGO, Surfers for Cetaceans. They are joined along the way by some of the world’s top pros and local Chilean surfers Ramon Navarro, Dane Ward, Crystal Thornburg-Homcy, Chris del Moro, Joel Parkinson, Cristian Merello, Leo Acevedo and Diego Medina. As the film travels on a unique surf journey, it paints a picture of Chile’s beauty and close association with the sea. The film also features an original soundtrack by Chilean folk artist Manuel Garcia.”
