Jack Johnson Will Replace Mumford & Sons at Bonnaroo

Jack Johnson will step in for Mumford & Sons at Bonnaroo Saturday night after the English folk-rockers canceled their appearance while bassist Ted Dwane recovers from surgery to remove a blood clot from the surface of his brain.

Johnson was already on his way to the festival to sit in with ALO last night when festival organizers asked him to replace Mumford & Sons in Saturday's headline slot.

"I called my band and asked if they were up for it," Johnson said in a statement. "Long story short – they are headed this way. I've got a lot of lyrics and chords to relearn by Saturday night. I was here to play the first Bonnaroo and it is a very special festival to my band. We are excited to hit the stage again."
