I moved to Maui in April of 2008, from Chicago Illinois. Once upon a time I was an interior designer. I was into environmentally conscious design, and maybe someday I will delve back into that realm, and make a difference there. For now I am trying to work as a catalyst in my community, simultaneously learning and teaching. I am looking for ways to make a difference, and though I have been a member of Jack’s All at Once community for awhile now, I am re-inspired to utilize this site because I saw him perform on 11/13/2009 in the Hawaii Theater, and he is such a force of nature. His music gives voice to a struggle that I think many many people deal with, and that is why we love him. There is this frustration with society, with a deep belief that people are good and can make a difference, we have all of this hope for our planet, and the children… and at the same time we feel helpless in the face of these stupid occurrences we hear about on the news, or that we see right in our own communities. I am so grateful that Jack is out there doing his thing, and giving people hope. I want to be a part of that.
