Cascade Land Conservancy conserves land in the central Puget Sound region, including King, Kittitas, Snohomish, Pierce, and Mason counties. We protect important natural spaces in urban neighborhoods and rural communities, along precious rivers and streams, and across the foothills of the Cascades.

Climate Counts
Climate Counts is a non-profit campaign that scores companies annually on the basis of their voluntary action to reverse climate change. If the world's 100 largest companies reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by 5% -- just 5% -- it would be like taking 25 million cars off the road. You can vote with your dollar every day. Companies really do care what you think.

HeadCount (2008)
HeadCount, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy, joins the Jack Johnson tour on the road and is also representing Vote the Environment. HeadCount was created in 2004 by a group of artists, music industry pros and fans who believe music, expression and freedom are all intertwined. To date, HeadCount has registered more voters than any other all-volunteer group in the country.

Nature Consortium
The Nature Consortium is a grassroots, community-based organization whose mission is to teach environmental lessons through the creative arts and hands-on conservation projects. We produce a Youth Art Program, an Urban Forest Restoration Project and the Arts~in~Nature Festival.

Puget Soundkeeper Alliance (2008)
The mission of Puget Soundkeeper Alliance is to protect and preserve Puget Sound by tracking down and stopping the discharge of toxic pollutants into its waters. The Alliance is the only organization that actively monitors and patrols the waters of Puget Sound to detect and document sources of illegal pollution.

Seattle Youth Garden Works
Seattle Youth Garden Works empowers homeless and under-served youth through garden-based education and employment. We are a market gardening program for youth ages 14-22 in the University District and South Park neighborhoods. Our goals are to connect youth to housing, health care, education, jobs and community.

Surfrider Foundation
The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. As part of the tour, Surfrider is launching their "Rise Above Plastics" campaign to educate the public about the dangers plastics pose to our environment, and what each of us can do to help reduce these impacts.
