(FoLAR) Friends of the Los Angeles River's mission is to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River and its riparian habitat through inclusive planning, education and wise stewardship. FoLAR's longest running programs is La Gran Limpieza, the Great Los Angeles River Clean Up, one of the largest urban river clean up the country.

HeadCount, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy, joins the Jack Johnson tour on the road and is also representing Vote the Environment. HeadCount was created in 2004 by a group of artists, music industry pros and fans who believe music, expression and freedom are all intertwined. To date, HeadCount has registered more voters than any other all-volunteer group in the country.
