Take Action with Just Label It and Support Local Food this Election​

Check out this new Just Label It video of Jack speaking in support of GMO labeling this election. Just Label It promotes the message that we have a right to know what is in our food and calls for genetically engineered foods to be labeled. There are several important GMO labeling measures on the November ballot in Colorado and Oregon. Learn more and sign the FDA petition in support of GMO labeling.

In Jack’s home state of Hawai’i, there is an important ballot initiative related to supporting local food. People will have the opportunity to vote on Amendment 2 which will allow local farmers to access lower cost financing, helping to move Hawai’i toward food self sufficiency. Also, GMO's are a hot topic in Hawai’i. Check out the new video #wearethemovement created by the Hawai'i Center for Food Safety. There are more GE field test sites in Hawai’i than any other state. Enormous amounts of pesticides are being sprayed next to hospitals and schools, impacting soil, and contaminating streams, reefs, and ocean. Get educated about the Maui County GMO Moratorium Initiative designed to stop GMO cultivation until public health studies determine safety of these practices and view this video to learn more.
