Hometown Hawaiʻi Premieres Announced for May 14th and 15th
Just announced are two special hometown Hawai‘i screenings of Jackʻs new documentary, SURFILMUSIC, May 14 and May 15 at Blaisdell Concert Hall.
The special evenings will celebrate the film’s deep connection to the place where Jack grew up surfing, filmmaking, and writing many of the songs that shaped his career, with talk story, and a special acoustic concert featuring Jack and friends, and additional guests to be announced. Tickets for the Hawaiʻi premiere screenings will go on sale the week of March 16, with registrations now open for a Hawaiʻi resident only presale via the Jack Johnson Music website. The locals presale starts March 18th, and the general public onsale is Friday, March 20th at 10 am HT.
SURFILMUSIC will begin a national theatrical run at the end of May 2026 and additional details surrounding screenings, and events will be announced soon.
