All At Once 2014 Impact Results
As most of you know, Jack and his crew took actions to minimize the environmental impact of the tour and engaged fans to join in the fun. Now that the From Here To Now To You Tour has officially ended we wanted to share the highlights from our greening initiatives and All At Once Non-Profit Partners on the road. As part of the All At Once campaign, the tour collaborated with over 150 community groups focusing on plastic free initiatives, sustainable local food systems, and other hands-on environmental projects.
As a result of the collective efforts made during the Jack Johnson 2014 Tour we were able to:
- Eliminate over 21,192 single-use 16 oz. plastic bottles from going into the waste stream as a result of band, crew and fans refilling reusable water bottles at the All At Once Water Stations provided by Klean Kanteen at the shows.
- Support 35 local farms with the purchase of locally grown and organic produce for band and crew catering.
- Divert 489.5 pounds of waste from the landfill, through recycling and composting efforts at the shows.
- Source over 10,054 gallons of sustainable biodiesel to fuel tour trucks, buses, and on site generators.
- Offset an estimated 2,268,481 pounds of CO2 through green touring efforts and fan participation.
- Promote & support 50 pre-show community events hosted by All At Once Non-Profit Partners, involving more than 10,800 volunteers.
- Donate over $400,000 directly to All At Once Non-Profit Partners through the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation. An additional $650,000 was leveraged by these organizations through the All At Once Matching donation program.
