In celebration of Plastic Free July, Jack is joining millions of people around the globe choosing to refuse single-use plastic by switching to reusables, avoiding packaging and reducing waste. You can take the Plastic Free July Challenge or check out ideas and tips for taking your own next step. Every step makes a big difference!
Jack’s recent tour of Europe and the UK continued to promote plastic free initiatives and encouraged venues and festivals to join the BYOBottle campaign. It was amazing to see how progressive European communities and cities are with their recycling and composting programs. The We Love Greenfestival in Paris showcased environmental innovation and encouraged plastic waste reduction. Almost all the venues and festivals played had reusable cup programs in place, with both the Rock Werchter Festival and Eventim Apollodirecting funds from these initiatives toward local charities. Jack’s band & crew created a World Refill Day reel backstage to promote reusables on tour and highlighted the Eden Project’s efforts to reduce single-use plastic waste.
