Punta de Lobos Saved Forever!

After years of hard work, Save The Waves, Fundación Punta de Lobos and Patagonia are thrilled to announce that the Mirador Property, the iconic headlands of Punta de Lobos, has been officially dedicated as a World Surfing Reserve and is now protected forever! Jack took part in an intimate dedication ceremony and a human chain to celebrate this amazing accomplishment, joined by fellow surfers, local leaders and conservation activists including Ramon Navarro, Matias Alcalde, Nik Strong-Cvetich from Save The Waves and Patagonia Ambassadors: Lea Brassy, Greg Long, Alex Perry, Kyle Thierman, Otto Flores and Jason Slezak. There is more work to be done however, and the Fundación Punta de Lobos is moving forward to advance conservation through the Chilean coastline and beyond.
