A “Micro” Plastic-Free Film Contest
Calling all environmental filmmakers! We are excited to announce…the Independence from Plastic: A 'micro' plastic-free film contest challenges filmmakers to show their positive vision of a plastic-free future in micro films of 60 seconds or less. Any style, any genre, any vision, just show the positive plastic-free world you want to see.
Filmmakers are also challenged to go plastic-free behind the scenes, detailing how production worked to eliminate single-use plastics, manage waste, reduce energy, and source sustainable products. Winning filmmakers will receive a prize of $2,000. Submissions are due Tuesday, June 7, 2024. Learn more and enter.
This contest is presented by Plastic Pollution Coalition, Hollywood, Health & Society, the Mazursky Family Foundation, and the Johnson Ohana Foundation.
