Jack’s European tour kicked off at the beginning of July in beautiful Cork, Ireland, and has stopped at iconic venues across Europe including the Eden Project, an environmental research project with biomes housing the largest indoor rainforest in the world as the backdrop to the show, London’s legendary Hammersmith Apollo, a stop in Belgium for Rock Werchter where we met up with longtime friends Eddie Vedder and Jack White, and concluding at the Citadel in Berlin, Germany. There were some intimate shows in the Netherlands, Paris and Spain, a stop at Mad Cool Festival where Jack and the band played a version of “Rocky Racoon” with Portugal the Man, followed by a show in Nice for the 70th Anniversary of the Nice Jazz Fest after France took the World Cup! The excitement continued through Switzerland, Austria, and Germany with a special sit in with new friend Aloe Blacc and ended in Japan at Fuji Rock Festival!
