Watch the Santa Monica Pier Show in person, or online on Monday, May 24th
On Saturday, May 22nd, 2000 people will join Jack Johnson's All At Once community and Heal The Bay to help clean Santa Monica Beach. In return, they will get to watch Jack play a free show on the Santa Monica Pier, Monday, May 24th. They will be joined by some lucky winners who won tickets through KROQ, 98.7, KCRW and MYFM, as well as folks who pre-ordered Jack's new album "To The Sea" at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, CA, and Fingerprints in Long Beach, CA. If you didn't register in time, or win tickets, there are two ways for you to see this show: 1. Watch the show from the Beach - We've arranged for a video screen and sound to face the beach on the south side of the pier. It's due to be a beautiful night, with a full moon, so please join us with your friends and family and listen to the show from the beach. Please note the guidelines below and RSVP via Facebook here. 2. Watch the show Online - If you are not in the Los Angeles area and can't make it in person, we will be streaming the show via Ustream! The show will go live to the web at 8 PM PST. After a short break to archive the stream, it will be online for roughly 24 hours for folks who were unable to tune in Live. RSVP via Facebook here. Some important guidelines:- This show is being held in part to help keep our beaches clean. Whatever you bring, please take it home, recycle, or dispose of your waste in the proper containers.
- This is a No Alcohol show. The City of Santa Monica does not allow alcohol on the beach or the pier.
- There is no smoking allowed, and no fires, BBQs, or any cooking apparatus are allowed.
- Respect your neighbors and have a good time.
- Please ride your bike, carpool or take public transportation to attend the event. There will be a bike valet near the pier.
- If you didn't make it in to register for this show, you can still join Heal the Bay in their great efforts to keep our California Beaches clean. They do cleanups at least once a month, and you can join the cause here: HealTheBay.org
