Join Surfrider & Others in Cleaning Our Beaches

The day after the 4th of July is the dirtiest beach day of the year. For over 20 years, Surfrider and its volunteer network have been showing up on July 5th or later to clean up the mess. Last year, over 1,300 Surfrider volunteers removed over 100,000 pounds of trash at cleanups across the country. You can help make this year’s cleanup even bigger! Visit Surfrider.org to find a cleanup near you.

As part of the nationwide cleanup Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation will be kicking off Plastic Free July by hosting a Plastic Free Hawaiʻi Beach Cleanup on Saturday, July 6th, from 9am-11am at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park in Haleʻiwa. Registration is now open and can be accessed here.
