Kokua Festival 2010!
May 02, 2010
The 2010 Kokua Festival entertained and educated fans over two sold-out nights this past Earth Day weekend! The Kokua Festival, now in it's sixth year, is noted as one of the most environmentally friendly events in Hawaii and models greening practices such as a water refill station, bike valet, zero waste stations, and more. Jack Johnson shared the stage with two of his favorite musicians, Ziggy Marley and Taj Mahal, and fellow local performers, Jake Shimabukuro and Anuhea. Mahalo to all of the dedicated Kokua volunteers, partners, and crew who made the festival such a huge success.
All profits from the Kokua Festival benefit the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, founded by Jack and Kim Johnson, to support environmental education programs in the schools and communities of Hawaii. To learn more visit www.kokuahawaiifoundation.org.
