Protect our Marine National

Protect our Marine National

Our marine monuments help to maintain the health of our oceans and were made possible by hundreds of thousands of people across the United States who joined scientists, fishermen, local elected officials, and conservationists to protect these national treasures. A Trump administration executive order threatens to reduce or eliminate our marine national monuments. The Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, one of Hawai‘i’s most unique ocean spaces, is on the list under threat.

Jack has joined a growing movement to protect our Marine National Monuments.“I grew up in Hawai‘i, where I was lucky enough to enjoy the magnificent waves of Oahu’s North Shore. The countless hours I spent on the water inspired my passion to encourage future generations to be stewards of the ocean. In order to preserve the ecological and cultural integrity of our treasured ocean spaces, I urge you to let the Trump Administration know you strongly support maintaining protections for these Marine National Monuments.” - Jack Johnson
