Dear Friends,

By now, many of you have seen the devastation on the North Shore of Oʻahu and storms have continued wreaking havoc across the island and neighboring islands as well. Our hearts are with all impacted families, farmers, and communities navigating the aftermath of these floods. Jack has been out on the ground volunteering and staying closely connected with community leaders like Joey Cadiz, helping share updates and support where it’s needed most. This will be a long road to recovery, and every bit of help truly matters.

Jack and Kim, together with the Johnson ʻOhana Foundation and Patagonia’s Holdfast Collective, will be donating a total of $500,000 to support flood recovery efforts. These funds will be distributed between the Lāhui Foundation, Hawaiʻi Farmers Union Foundation, and to verified GoFundMe pages supporting impacted families. We hope you will join us in supporting these efforts in whatever way you can.

• Lāhui Foundation — Funding supplies, food, and volunteers mobilizing to support families impacted by recent flooding across the North Shore. Continue reading below on ways you can plug in or check out their website here.

• Hawaiʻi Farmers United Foundation — Support Hawaiʻi farmers and rural communities impacted by flooding and the extreme weather across the islands. This fund will provide immediate relief while helping farmers recover, rebuild, and restore Hawaiʻi’s local food system. Contributions to HFUF can be made on the donate page on their homepage. Please earmark for the North Shore chapter by specifying North Shore via note during PayPal payments.

• Go Fund Me Hawaiʻi Flooding Relief Verified Pages — Donate to verified Hawaii flooding relief fundraisers via the GoFundMe Hawaii Flooding Relief hub to help people rebuild and recover, or donate to the GoFundMe.org Flood Relief Fund. Donations to the Flood Relief Fund are tax-deductible and will go directly to verified individuals, families, small businesses, and community organizations impacted by flooding.

• Hawaii Community Foundation Stronger Hawai’i Fund — A dedicated fund designed to support statewide disaster and emergency related preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and resilience.

• Hawaiʻi Council Fund- Kāko’o Oahu Emergency Fund — Every donation will be matched by the Hawaiian Council and their corporate partners, up to $200,000, doubling the impact of your support for families in need.
