The show was held at the Les Nuits de Fourvieres, an ancient Roman theatre in Lyon that was built in 15 BC and finished ten years later.
During sound check the rain was falling hard and cleared up just before showtime. It was a sold out show and the crowd was tentative.
Charles Pasci opened the show and later joined Jack and the band for a harmonica jam on “Mudfootballâ€.
With the stone seating each guest was given a seat cushion for the show, at one point the crowd went wild and began throwing the seat cushions into the air and at the stage. Jack, Merlo, Adam and Zach started throwing the seat cushions back. Jack then called to some of the touring crew to start helping throw the seat cushions back out into the crowd. The energy was building and it turned out to be a full out seat cushion fight, all in good fun of course.
As the show finished the crowd and the band were equally thrilled and everyone left the venue with smiles from ear to ear.
