Mahalo to Patagonia and the Surfjack Hotel!
Earlier this summer, Patagonia celebrated the 25th anniversary of their Haleʻiwa store. KHF staff as well as friends from Mālama Loko Ea Foundation and North Shore Community Land Trust were there to share our work and provide activities for the keiki in attendance. Mahalo nui to Patagonia for their $800 donation from the evening’s proceeds! More importantly, we thank Patagonia for their being an amazing community partner for the last 25 years!
The Surfjack Hotel donated proceeds from their July 14th Swim Club at the Surfjack event to Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation’s Plastic Free Hawaiʻi program. With a DJ, pop-up shops, and raffle prizes, the event raised nearly $2,000, and the event was 100% plastic free with drinks served in either reusable or compostable cups! Mahalo Surfjack!
