SURFILMUSIC North American Tour Concludes at the Hollywood Bowl
The North American leg of Jackʻs SURFILMUSIC Tour wrapped with two shows at the historical Hollywood Bowl! Jack and the band were joined on stage by Ben Harper and Kelly Slater on night one, and Money Mark, Blake Mills, and Demetri Martin on night two. The shows created the perfect full circle moment with Hermanos Gutiérrez, who helped create the new music for Jack’s SURFILMUSIC documentary, and started the summer tour with Jack back in June. Mario Caldato Jr, longtime friend and producer of several of Jack’s most beloved albums, including In Between Dreams and From Here to Now to You, spun an all vinyl DJ set. On Sunday night just as it started to rain Jack sang the line “Can’t you see that it’s just raining?” during his performance of “Banana Pancakes” and the crowd went wild, some are saying Jack “summoned the rain!”. And if that weren’t magical enough, Jack brought 5 – year old Olive up on stage to help him sing “Home” during his acoustic set. What a fun and memorable weekend!

A special thank you to Hermanos Gutiérrez, Lake Street Dive and G. Love for sharing the stage and making the entire summer such a memorable North American Tour. And a huge thank you to all the fans, family and friends who came out to enjoy a show along the way!
