Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives

August 2, 2018

Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives are back for the 2018-2019 school year! Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives provide opportunities for schools, families & community members to drop off a variety of goods for reuse and recycling. They are held on Saturdays at Oʻahu schools from 9:00am-12:00pm throughout the school year, and proceeds from HI-5 containers, scrap metal, and used cooking oil go directly to the host school.Stop by to drop off miscellaneous recyclable items! We will be collecting scrap metal (bicycles, large & small appliances, etc.), electronics (including computers, TVs, laptops, printer cartridges, cell phones, cameras, game systems, & more), batteries, clothing/household items, used household cooking oil, HI-5 beverage cans & bottles and more. Confidential documents will be collected in locked bins by Goodwill Hawaiʻi and shredded securely at their headquarters in Mapunapuna. Mark your calendar for an Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drive near you:
